Our May movie will be the 2014 biopic Cesar Chavez. It stars Michael Peña as the legendary labor organizer, and was directed by Diego Luna. The film dramatizes Chavez's efforts to form the United Farm Workers and organize predominantly Chicano farm workers in California during the 1960s and '70s. Discussion will follow the movie.

This event is free and open to the public. The Black Cat House welcomes all ages, and is a drug and alcohol-free venue. To help keep everyone safe and healthy, we ask that all guests wear face masks in our space. We are wheelchair accessible.
